The past always seems to have a way of coming back and haunting us, especially at a time, when we really want to let go of it, and move on with our life.
Past relationships are no different – you might have said goodbye to that person, who you thought meant the world to you, but somehow, the memories refuse to fade away.
What do you do in a situation like this? Seek some sensible relationship advice?
Perhaps that would be the best thing to do, given that you have someone you can talk to!
When you come out of a relationship, you are in your most fragile state of mind – this is when you need the most amounts of emotional support and strength, but are unable to garner it.
Everything you do seem to remind you of that person, you just let out of your life. That song you hear on the radio, the coffee shop pass by which used to be your favorite hangout, the movies that you enjoyed snuggled in each other’s arms – there will always be so much that will remind you of them.
But if you want to move on in life, there is no way but to let go of what is no longer your present or your future.
If you are lucky enough to have someone who can give you healthy relationship advice, they will tell you that the best way to finally get a closure is to occupy your mind with something else!
While jumping instantly into yet another relationship, might sound like the best way for a rebound, not being the most sensible step.
Rather, pick up a new hobby or join a class, where you will not only get to meet new people, but also learn something new.
Closure will come only if you truly want it! But it won’t, if you don’t want it to!
